WE CANNOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A SEED: A report from Innocent Niyongabo

   Innocent is the President of ONE House Transformation for Burundi. 

   This month of May 2024 Gerard Ninziza and I were invited to represent ONE in Karusi in the summit organized and headed by His excellency President of the Republic of Burundi Mr. Évariste Ndayishimiye about agriculture, livestock and development.

   ONE is a community based organization  committed to leaving this world different from how we found it. Our commitment is to equip pastors, youth and young entrepreneurs with skills that enable them to sustain them and make a community capable of sustaining itself and ensuring dignity and justice for its members. We teach by example. We give love. Christ first, people oriented.

   Through the support of Dr. Paul Taylor and Dr. Josimar Salum, we have reached desperate communities in Burundi, rural churches, equipping them with the teachings of kingdom leadership, using materials from Dr. Josimar Salum and Dr. Paul Taylor. 

   We cannot underestimate the power of a seed. It takes a word to destroy a nation , and through a pure and true word, we hope to have by 2040-2060, a nation built on love, caring, honesty, restraint, sharing, hardwork, oneness, etc.

   Jackson, under the supervision of Mr Mathias a rabbit project was organized, preliminaries put in place…

   In partnership with FUPDD and BF SUMA, we were able to empower groups to support people in rural and urban areas in the realm of health, economic empowerment, couple formation, etc. We ensure good cohabitations, economic resiliency, business creation, youth high education and community literacy.

   Prof. Jeremiah Manirakiza and Jackson Mandela were able to travel to Uganda for a life-changing conference... Thank you, Salum for your support.

   I, Innocent, worked hard to ensure that the members of the organization were in good harmony, the groups were well supervised, change was assured, meetings were held, trips were made...

   Dream House is fine, English classes are held at ONE office every Saturday...

   Future endeavors:

   1. Jean Marie is organizing a bit rally. Jean would like partner with ONE and FUPDD to make sure environment is safe and jobs are made out of recycling and waste management.

   2. Mathias has a big project, with our own eyes we testify that Mathias is a good and professional farmer.

   What if ONE boosts such kind of projects with and through them truly to teach more couples in more provinces to nourish the country in such a critical situation in Burundi where people need food. 

   Would you send us volunteers to teach about farming or entrepreneurship in the future?

   Dr Paul Taylor responded: “Yes.  I will do my best to help support all endeavors of ONE.  Hopefully we can return soon with a team of people.  It would not be until the end of this year or beginning of next year.  What is uncertain is what is going to happen at the elections here in the US.  There will probably be lots of unrest, possible violence and rioting before and after the elections in November.  The USA needs your prayers.  God is surely in control and we are believing for revival, both here and in Burundi, as well as in the rest of the world. Pray.  Pray for Israel also.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Believing for the impossible! #ASONE”

   This is Dr. Salum’s response: “I have just contemplated true leadership in action. You have no idea of the joy in my heart after reading this report from Innocent. I am really praying for an open door to be part of the team with Dr Taylor in the next visit to Burundi. Burundi shall be transformed by the Kingdom of God.”
